THE BRIEF
November 2005. Our client, recognizing a need for a future focused recruitment solution, sought a recruitment partner with the capability to design and incorporate an approach that would see the right candidates proactively promoted to their company on a regular basis. 
The area of key focus was with Field Sales, an area traditionally very difficult to recruit for. 

THE SOLUTION

  • From our client discussions, observations and analysis that resulted, a solution was tailored to deliver a solution that included the development of a Private Managed Talent Pool.
  • Development of the Private Managed Talent Pool
  • Ongoing sourcing campaign – nationwide
  • Reverse ALERTS electronically advising when freshly identified potential employees have been identified, qualified and added to the pool
  • Talent Pool Communications – ongoing.  The objective is to keep the client brand alive in the minds of the individuals identified as suitable for this employer.
  • Communications program with staff that have departed the organisation – to entice them back
  • Internal referral scheme developed and implemented

KEY OUTCOMES

  • Reduction in recruitment advertising spending
  • Cost savings of 46% on recruitment costs through the Private Managed Talent Pool over 2 years – 40% alone in first year
  • Cost savings of 25% on recruitment outside of Talent Pool
  • Vacancies filled by candidates within the talent pool (e.g. a candidate in Wellington had been identified in November 2006 as suitable however required some development, he achieved this and was subsequently employed in October 2007)
  • Recruitment across NZ without increased costs using Frog’s virtual recruitment - 100% of vacancies filled.
  • Talent research scoping across industry sector completed
  • Streamlined interview process for all parties using Lominger as the basis
  • Off-shore candidate interest captured, recruited and transitioned
