Tenix: Combined Blended Services Model & Management Search

BACKGROUND:
As a result of a previous successful placement (National Quality Control Manager) Frog Recruitment was invited to assist with the re-structure of Alliance/Tenix - Tenix’s Industrial Service Division.

The re-structure ran concurrently with the internal / external process to meet change management deadlines. 

Frog presented a Blended Services model, a support framework and recruitment process of the re-structure.  As this was to impact at National Senior Management level, key functions of the process were agreed to in order to manage the process impartially, transparently and within Employment relations guidelines.

Additional information was presented to Tenix outlining:
  • Additional costing on OPQ Personality Assessments
  • Outplacement quotations from two organisations.
PROCESS:
The consultative process had been communicated to Alliance/Tenix key stakeholders and steps outlined to action the internal advertising campaign.  Tenix would communicate internal process to Alliance/Tenix employees with timelines and actions to take place including outlining the purpose of the partnership with Frog Recruitment. Employees were also consulted with, that both an internal and external advertising would be run concurrently for the following new created positions:

1 x Western Manager - New Plymouth and surrounds - @ $160K remuneration package
1 x Eastern Manager -   Tauranga and surrounds - @ $160K remuneration package
1 x Regional Manager - West - @ $120K
1 x Regional Manager - East -   @ $120K
2 x Depot Managers -    West - @ $100K
2 x Depot Managers  -   East -   @$100k

Frog Recruitment mirrored the process with going to the market all external applicants briefed in writing the recruitment selection process they would be entering once short listed to ensure integrity of the recruitment process between Frog Recruitment and Alliance/Tenix.

DELIVERABLES:
Frog Recruitment provided consultative Blended Services across the following areas:
  • Overall career profile including a Senior Management Competency Matrix and weightings thereof 
  • Behavioural/competency based interview using Lominger Architect™ against identified key senior management competencies
  • 18 staff completed Tenix’s internal management competency form utilized in the process. Candidates invited to demonstrate their experience/competency in writing. This was submitted to Tenix along with their application
  • … external applicants were interviewed and presented
RESULTS:
16 internal applicants shortlisted.
All 8 positions successfully placed.
