  • Seek maintains a strong visit lead of 14% over TradeME Jobs
  • Over 120,000 jobseekers visited Seek via a mobile device in July which has seen strong growth since it was launched at the beginning of 2011
  • The average NZ pay packet rose by 3.1% since January to a national average of $72,277
  • The West Coast is paying the highest average salary, followed by Wellington and Auckland
  • Community Services & Development roles have shown the highest growth in salary since January 2011 at 19.5%, followed by Real Estate and Mining
  • Casual/Vacation & Contract/Temp roles have seen the highest levels of growth since January 2011
  • The top 5 classifications being viewed are Admin, IT, Hospitality/Tourism, Sales and Manufacturing
  • The top 5 industries being advertised are Mining, IT, Government, HR and Accounting
  • The top 5 paying salaries are Mining, Consulting, Construction, Engineering and IT
