Craft Personality Questionnaire![]() The Craft Personality Questionnaire– a selection and development tool to boost sales revenueWhat does the Craft Personality Questionnaire measure? The Craft Personality Questionnaire (CPQ) is designed to measure the eight basic personality traits proven to predict job performance and retention. The CPQ is a powerful tool designed to help you increase your sales revenue. Developed by Dr. Larry Craft, a behavioural scientist with over 25 years of experience in the employment assessment industry, the CPQ measures the following eight primary traits alongside numerous secondary and interactive traits.
What can the CPQ be used for? The results of the CPQ can be used not only to select the best people for the job but also to help existing employees reach their full potential as salespeople. The CPQ generates 5 reports in total; 2 of which are designed specially for selection purposes, and 3 which have been created for development. The unique development reports have been designed to help you more effectively coach or supervise your sales person to higher levels of productivity based upon his or her unique personality. How do we know it will work? The CPQ has been used by managers, trainers and employees across a wide range of industries. A recent study using 10,000 sales employees in an international financial company showed that employees with a high score on the CPQ were, on average, likely to generate 200% more revenue than low scorers . Through selecting only high scorers of the CPQ during the recruitment process, the company realised it could increase its annual revenue figure enormously. What do the reports look like? The assessment contains 75 forced-choice items, requiring respondents to rate themselves in terms of their most favorable response vs. their most honest response. The assessment typically takes employees 20 minutes to complete. The reports generated identify ‘What's Your Selling Style?’ and lists specific strengths and improvement opportunities for each selling style. The reports help an individual understand their unique characteristics and how they differ from other sales personnel.
The manager development report is designed to help managers effectively coach or supervise their sales people to higher levels of productivity based upon their unique personality.
Selecting candidates and coaching employees based on their scores from the CPQ could make a significant difference not only to performance and retention within your sales team but also to your annual revenue. Cost: $350 +GST |
