From wanting to write screenplays in Hollywood to getting a ‘real job’ in recruitment, Jim clearly loves what he does and openly shares his knowledge with you on the latest trends and strategies in social media and sourcing recruitment techniques.

Jim has consulted for Microsoft, Google, MCI, Siemens and a host of start-up companies, building expertise in lead generation strategies, social media recruiting, video production, podcasting, online research, competitive intelligence and community management.

As the current Director of Social Sourcing & Social Strategy at the Bernard Hodes Group, Jim trains companies on the relevance of having a social media presence and how to implement sourcing strategies within their business.

In his spare time, Jim keeps busy online managing his award-winning blog “The Recruiters Lounge”, publishing a weekly newsletter for jobseekers and a recruiter training magazine, plus co-hosts a popular technology podcast among other things.
