Practice Manager
The Practice Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the office and supporting the leadership team. Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily operations and workflow across the practice
- Managing finance functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and working closely with external accountants
- Managing human resources matters such as onboarding, contracts, policies, performance reviews and staff support
- Monitoring compliance and regulatory obligations
- Working with internal and external information technology providers to maintain systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
- Supporting directors with strategy, planning, and operational decision-making
- Assisting with process improvements and implementing new procedures
- General office leadership, including facilities and supplier management
- Parking bay provided on site
We are looking for someone who brings demonstrated experience in a similar operational or practice management role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience working in practice management, office management, finance or operations role
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to confidently understand and manage budgets, cashflow and reporting
- Experience across human resources, compliance and policy development
- Ability to work with information technology systems and coordinate with information technology support providers
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with openness to modern systems and new ways of working
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Supportive, down-to-earth team
