- Temp or contractor production planner position for around 2 months – ASAP start
- Attractive hourly rate - get paid up to $40.87/hourly
- Work out in East Auckland!
About the role
This role is responsible for scheduling for the diary plant. As the Production Planner you will plan out a minimum of 10 weeks with detailed daily schedule out 2 weeks. You will maintain a balanced stock holding of finished goods, with minimal out of stocks and provide timely product to Export orders.
- Forecast and plan prepared and circulated prior to weekly operation review meetings
- All planning lines converted to production plans
- Ensure deadlines are met and achieved
- Look at solutions to ensure the line will not to be impacted by material shortage
- Lead all production meetings under your care
- You will have experience working as a production planner within FMCG, food or products of a perishable nature
- Have a strong understanding of the production life cycle, from raw materials through to finished products
- Be solution oriented – have proven experience of thinking on your feet to meet deadlines and quotas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
