Sales Manager
The Role
As Sales Manager, you will drive both strategy and execution, mentoring a talented sales team, setting clear performance goals, and shaping the brand’s commercial direction using data-driven insights. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to strengthen existing markets while identifying new opportunities in the global luxury design arena.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with high-value clients across architecture, interiors, and design sectors
- Develop strategic sales plans to increase market share in both established and emerging regions
- Manage complex, high-value transactions from initial approach to close
- Actively network at industry events in the UK and internationally to grow brand awareness
- Monitor KPIs, ensuring a healthy, well-balanced sales pipeline
- Increase average deal size through targeted upselling and cross-selling strategies
- Maintain the highest standard of presentation within the gallery/showroom to reflect the brand’s luxury positioning
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the luxury interiors, art, or design industry
- Experience managing key accounts and cultivating long-term client partnerships
- Strong knowledge of the architecture & design sector (A&D) and the luxury marketplace
- Skilled in CRM systems and confident with Mac-based workflows (experience with Monday CRM a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, with a working knowledge of social media and commercial design platforms (e.g., 1st Dibs, Pinterest)
- Highly organised, commercially minded, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a polished and professional manner
