Senior Accounts Payable Officer

About the Role
The Accounts Payable Officer will take ownership of the full accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments. Working within Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central or D365), you’ll play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy while building strong relationships with both vendors and internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with detail, thrives in a high-volume environment, and wants to contribute to a purpose-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process supplier invoices and credit notes
- Prepare and manage vendor payments in line with terms
- Reconcile accounts and investigate variances
- Respond to supplier queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Maintain accurate financial data within Microsoft Dynamics
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central or D365) or a similar ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume processing
- Excellent communication skills for managing vendor and internal relationships
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with an interest in process improvement
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
