Territory Business Development Manager
We’re partnering with an established training and education provider that delivers capability development solutions to corporate and government clients across Australia and New Zealand. With significant traction in the New Zealand market and ambitious plans to grow their presence across Australia and APAC, this is an opportunity to help build a region, own a portfolio, and influence commercial direction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading new business growth across NSW and broader APAC markets.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in enterprise and government sectors.
- Representing the business at roadshows, events, and tenders.
- Developing a robust sales pipeline to support regional growth targets.
- Operating autonomously - researching, networking, cold calling, and securing high-value accounts.
- Working closely with sales leadership based in NZ and local peers in QLD.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in learning, consulting, transformation, or workforce solutions.
- Experience winning new business from scratch - this is not a warm leads role.
- Proven ability to sell to government (local/state/federal) and enterprise customers.
- Strong commercial acumen and a values-aligned, partnership-focused approach.
- Adaptability and resilience - things move fast and not everything’s structured yet.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in an environment with minimal hand-holding.
- Sydney-based presence (essential) - you’ll be the on-the-ground driver for NSW and APAC.
