Commitment: Consultant basis, 3–5 days per week

The Opportunity
We are working with a modern, entrepreneurial law firm in London seeking an experienced Consultant Lawyer to join its growing team. This role offers exceptional flexibility — ideal for a self-driven lawyer who wants to work on high-quality commercial and corporate matters while maintaining control over their time and workload.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, supporting dynamic clients ranging from start-ups and scale-ups to established SMEs and investors across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Advising clients on commercial contracts, corporate transactions, and business advisory matters.
Acting as a trusted adviser to founders, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses.
Managing your own client relationships while collaborating with colleagues and partners across the firm.
Contributing to a culture that values innovation, flexibility, and a commercial mindset.

About You

Qualified solicitor (England & Wales), ideally with experience gained in a leading firm or strong boutique practice.
Background in commercial, corporate, or start-up advisory work.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
Entrepreneurial, solutions-focused, and confident in a flexible, output-based model.

Key Criteria

Relevant Experience
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE and proven expertise in commercial, corporate, or start-up advisory work.
Commercial & Entrepreneurial Outlook
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and a practical approach to providing legal solutions to growing and founder-led businesses.
Flexibility & Independence
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a consultant capacity (3–5 days per week), balancing client autonomy with teamwork in a collaborative, agile firm.
