Part Time Payroll Officer (2 days per week)

With several new projects ramping up, this National Engineering and Construction business require the assistance of an experienced Payroll Officer to join the Payroll team on a part-time (2 day per week) basis. You will also be required for 2 days mid-month to assist with the monthly payroll. With a great team environment you will enjoy the organisations culture.

The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a team of four, the responsibilities will include,

Set up of new employees and maintaining payroll records
Responding to payroll queries
Payroll processing
Award and EA interpretation
Leave and entitlement calculations

About You
The successful candidate will have/be,

Experienced in payroll processing
A strong understanding of payroll legislation
Ability to interpret Awards and EA's
Well developed verbal and communication skills
Strong Payroll systems experience (ADP or Micropay Meridian highly advantageous
