Payroll Manager
They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and enhance the payroll function within the business. This role offers the opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation in a period of growth and innovation.
About the role:
- Leading the end-to-end payroll function, including management of two direct reports
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee remuneration and entitlements
- Overseeing statutory obligations such as Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Child Support, and WorkCover
- Driving the development and implementation of payroll strategies, systems, and process improvements
- Interpreting and applying Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements accurately
- Producing detailed payroll reports and providing insights to senior leadership
- Conducting regular quality control audits to maintain compliance and data integrity
- Supporting various ad hoc projects and duties as required.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar payroll management position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced numeracy, investigative, and critical thinking skills
- In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and full function operations.
