people2people is proud to partner with a respected community-focused, not-for-profit organisation currently seeking a dedicated and customer-centric Receptionist with reservations or accomodations booking experience. This role is integral to delivering exceptional support services and ensuring a seamless experience for their valued guests.

about the role
Based in Rockhampton, this busy and varied role will see you working 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday responsible for:

Managing Reception
Handling any incoming enquiries
Working with incoming reservations and bookings
Meeting & greeting guests and coordinating all their transport requirements to and from appointments
Assisting guests with requests
Coordinating maintenance and service requests
Processing accommodation invoices, administrative requisitions, petty cash and incoming donations
Assisting with administration support

selection criteria

Previous Reception, Reservations, Guest Services or Administration experience
Hospitality experience highly advantageous
Computer literacy – MS Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to empathise and manage communications in a sensitive manner
Ability to work autonomously with strong time management and coordination skills
Understanding of basic accounting
