Retail Sales Assistant - Bedding and Furniture

We are currently looking for a customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join the team of a global company. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding face to face customer service, whilst driving sales and making a meaningful impact.

Commission structure and benefits
Flexible hours between the days of Thursday to Sunday working at least 10-15 hours a week
Based in eastern and south eastern suburbs of Melbourne
$33.19 - $44.89 p/h + Super (depending on day of week and overtime)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, personalised service to customers, ensuring a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
Provide exceptional customer assistance by addressing product inquiries, offering tailored recommendations, and sharing in depth product knowledge.
Actively boost sales performance by achieving or surpassing store targets.
Maintain store presentation and ensure stock levels are adequately managed.
Work independently and confidently within the store, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in face to face retail or customer service is a must.
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and drive sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect and build rapport with customers.
A collaborative team player who can also thrive when working solo.
Strong attention to detail and a dedication to keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-organised.
