About the Role
This newly created position plays a key role in strengthening the organisation’s financial operations, systems and insights.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will:

Provide senior technical accounting support across core financial functions.
Analyse financial performance, trends and variances to inform operational decisions.
Support the integrity and improvement of financial systems and processes.
Assist with the financial management and acquittal of government grants.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and aged care financial requirements.
Support reporting for Executive and Board audiences.
Act as a connector between finance, systems and operational leaders.

This role suits someone who enjoys problem‑solving, driving improvement and working across multiple teams.

About You
CA/CPA qualified, you are a technically strong accountant with experience in the aged care sector and a passion for meaningful financial analysis. You bring:-

Experience in aged care financial operations, including an understanding of the Aged Care Act and Support at Home financial requirements.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into practical insights.
Experience supporting complex financial systems and resolving issues.
Proven ability to meet reporting deadlines and manage grant acquittals.
A collaborative working style and the ability to remain calm and solutions‑focused.

Experience navigating sector reform or integrated care systems is highly desirable.
