We’re partnering with a well‑established organisation based in Murarrie to source an Accounting Administrator for a 3‑month temporary assignment, with an immediate start available. This role suits someone who enjoys transactional accounting, has strong attention to detail, and is confident working across AP and AR while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. Once you’re up to speed, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working from home two days per week.
About the Role
Reporting into the finance team, you’ll support day‑to‑day accounting and finance administration activities. Your focus will be on ensuring financial transactions are accurately processed and recorded, while providing general administrative support to the broader function. You’ll be working closely with internal departments as well as suppliers and customers, so strong communication skills are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, process and record incoming and outgoing invoices
- Enter and maintain invoice data within ERP systems
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Reconcile suspense and clearing accounts
- Process payments and bank statements
- Support expense claim processing
- Assist with collections and follow ups on outstanding receivables
- Maintain vendor and master data
- Support tax related tasks such as VAT, Intrastat and foreign VAT reclaims (where required)
About You
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance administration role
- High attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies or errors
- Confident communicator who can liaise with finance, operations and external stakeholders
- Comfortable working across multiple systems and processes
- Able to adapt quickly in a fast paced, multi disciplinary environment
Skills & Experience
- Relevant qualification in accounting, finance or business administration
- Ideally 1-3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- System experience in (DAX / Salesforce) or similar ERP
