Accounts Receivable Lead 2-3 days WFH

Location: Surry Hills
Work Arrangement: 2–3 days in office per week
Salary: $120k package
Start Date: Late August (current candidate is on 4 weeks' notice)

Company Overview

A prominent joint venture operating across the construction and infrastructure sector. This business is delivering key infrastructure projects and requires a commercially-minded AR Lead to manage high-volume, schedule-driven invoicing and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Client Invoicing:
- Generate high-volume invoices aligned with approved payment schedules for 150+ jobs.
- Ensure payment items match the schedule with high attention to detail.
- Upload invoices to client portals and manage follow-up communications.
Cash Management:
- Lead cashflow forecasting and monitor daily/weekly liquidity positions.
- Support commercial teams with plant, vehicle, and headcount forecasting.
- Track and report under/over-recoveries.
Debtors Management & Analysis:
- Oversee AR ledger, manage debt collection, and conduct detailed debtor analysis and reporting.
- Provide insights and drive AR performance improvements.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Leverage advanced Excel skills(complex formulas, large data sets).
- Build and maintain models and reports that support project forecasting and financial control.

Preferred Background

Strong background in construction or infrastructure industries.
Experience dealing with large volumes of invoices and complex project-based payment schedules.
Proven ability to work across multiple stakeholders and client portals.
Advanced Excel capabilities and strong analytical mindset.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
