The Role
You will work closely with and support two Partners across a diverse client base, taking ownership of client relationships while mentoring and supporting junior team members.
You will be involved in managing a client portfolio of over $3 million in fees, as well as an additional portfolio of smaller clients generating approximately $250,000 in fees. The portfolio consists of a strong mix of long-standing and well-established clients across industries, including property, civil construction, and professional services.
The role also offers exposure to financial advisory work and the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Corporate Finance team on cross-referral and advisory engagements.
Your responsibilities will include
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and providing guidance and support
- Liaising directly with clients, the ATO, and other stakeholders
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory work
- Preparing BAS, FBT returns, and other compliance requirements
- Supporting process improvements and contributing to team development
