About the role
The Area Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of multiple car park sites, ensuring high standards of presentation and exceptional customer service. This role demands strong leadership and operational oversight, facilitating effective communication between site personnel and management while driving performance improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Set and review performance objectives for site personnel, focusing on presentation and customer experience.
- Provide clear operational priorities and address underperformance constructively.
- Maintain accountability and reporting lines across on-site teams.
- Monitor service delivery and compliance, reporting variances to the Business Manager Operations.
- Identify capability gaps and implement staff development initiatives.
- Manage site contracts and develop action plans in collaboration with the Business Manager Operations.
- Assess site performance using data insights and address compliance issues.
- Liaise with clients regarding site performance and service outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
- Provide accurate reporting and analysis on site performance to budget.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in operational management within the parking or related sectors, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer service standards.
- Strong capability in leadership and team development, with a track record of enhancing staff performance through structured initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse performance data and implement effective operational strategies that align with business objectives.
