About the Company
Our client is a family-owned local company with a significant commercial property portfolio. Working alongside an experienced management team, you will have the opportunity to further develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, and tenants.
About the Role
You will manage a substantial portfolio of commercial properties, including office buildings, industrial warehouses, and single-tenancy sites predominantly located within 10–15km of the CBD. You will be responsible for maintaining the lease management framework, participating in lease negotiations, and monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on leases and broader property management matters.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date tenancy schedules across the portfolio
- Review tenancy agreements and ensure all charges, including outgoings, are correctly captured, recovered, or paid
- Contribute to effective lease management, including revenue and expenditure
- Manage lease renewals, including notifications and implementation
- Ensure all rent reviews are captured and actioned within required timeframes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and stakeholders
- Conflict resolution and ongoing maintenance management
- Business development and expansion through new management contracts
- Prepare reports and professional correspondence
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualifications in Property (desirable but not essential)
- CBS Property Registration (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience managing a mixed commercial property portfolio
