Associate - Corporate

A well regarded commercial law firm with a strong presence in Perth is seeking a Corporate Lawyer (3+ years PAE) to join its growing team.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has come up for a corporate lawyer to join a high-performing team advising a diverse client base including listed companies, private businesses and emerging growth companies.

You will gain exposure to a broad range of corporate matters and work alongside experienced practitioners on complex transactions while developing your technical expertise and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters


• Drafting and reviewing transaction documentation and commercial agreements


• Assisting on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and corporate restructures


• Managing multiple transactions concurrently and supporting senior lawyers on complex matters

The Candidate

• 3+ years PAE


• Strong drafting and communication skills in corporate and commercial transactions


• A working knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 and ASX Listing Rules


• The ability to manage several concurrent matters


• A collaborative and team-focused approach


• Skilled in delegation, mentoring and supervision of lawyers
