The Role
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking lawyers at multiple levels, from Associate through to Special Counsel, with a minimum of 2 years’ PAE. The successful candidates will work closely with leading partners on a diverse range of liability matters, including personal injury and property claims, as well as professional indemnity matters across various industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing complex files
- Providing strategic advice
- Preparing court documents
- Actively contributing to client relationship development
- Leading teams, mentoring junior lawyers, and contributing to business development initiatives for senior roles
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- At least 2 years’ PAE in defendant insurance law, with strong liability experience including personal injury and property-related matters
- Professional indemnity exposure is highly regarded
- Strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required
- Commercial awareness and confidence in building rapport with clients to understand their business needs
- For senior roles, leadership capability including delegation and fostering a positive team environment
