An opportunity is available for an Associate or Senior Associate with at least 3 years PAE to join a busy and well established Commercial Property team in Sydney CBD.
This role is suited to a lawyer who enjoys working across a broad range of transactional property matters, managing client relationships and taking ownership of their files in a fast paced environment where commercial judgement and autonomy are highly valued.

The Role
Working within a high performing property practice, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of matters, including:
- Commercial and residential sales and acquisitions
- Retail, commercial and industrial leasing matters
- Property development transactions
- Drafting and negotiating contracts and related documentation
- Conducting due diligence and title investigations
- Managing PEXA settlements and electronic conveyancing processes
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Running matters from commencement through to settlement
- Advising clients on a variety of commercial property transactions
Depending on experience level, the successful candidate will either manage their own files independently or take a leading role in more complex matters while providing guidance and support to junior lawyers within the team.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3 years PAE in Commercial Property law
- Experience gained within a private practice law firm
- Strong leasing and transactional property experience
- The ability to manage files autonomously and confidently
- Demonstrated experience using PEXA
- Strong drafting, technical and analytical skills
- Commercial judgement and practical problem solving ability
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
