This established New Zealand-owned business operates a nationwide network supporting trade customers across the construction and plumbing sectors. They are seeking a Branch Manager to lead their Blenheim operation, overseeing branch performance, customer relationships and team leadership within a collaborative regional network.
Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the day-to-day performance of a busy regional branch. You will lead a small team, build strong relationships with local trade customers and drive sales growth while maintaining excellent service standards.
Working closely with regional leadership, you will have the autonomy to manage branch operations while contributing to the wider success of the business across the region.
Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a small branch team to deliver strong customer service and operational performance
- Build and maintain relationships with trade customers to support ongoing sales growth
- Identify new business opportunities within the local market
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations including trade counter and customer engagement
- Monitor branch sales performance and contribute to revenue and margin targets
- Maintain strong service standards and a customer-focused branch environment
- Work collaboratively with regional leadership and internal support teams
- Ensure health and safety standards and company policies are consistently applied

- Salary in the range of $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

- Experience leading a team within a branch, retail, trade, wholesale or distribution environment
- Strong customer relationship management and business development capability
- Ability to drive sales growth and branch performance
- Confidence coaching staff and managing performance
- Strong operational awareness across branch or site-based environments
- Industry exposure or customer networks within plumbing, construction, building supplies or related trade sectors will be advantageous
