About the role
An opportunity within a global FMCG powerhouse with a significant footprint across Australia — a well-established, stable business with strong market presence and continued growth.
They are seeking a Business Controller for an up to 6-month contract, stepping into a highly visible and hands-on role within a lean local structure.
This role offers strong exposure across the business, partnering closely with key stakeholders in a hybrid working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead forecasting cycles with a strong focus on P&L simulation and performance prediction
- Partner with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and senior leadership to drive commercial insights
- Present financials, forecasts, and key drivers at board and management meetings
- Oversee accrual planning and management of revenue and cost flows
- Build financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making
Skills & experience
- Experience in a Business Controller / Management Accounting role within FMCG or similar
- Strong forecasting, P&L analysis, and financial modelling capability
- Proven leadership experience managing teams
- Confident stakeholder engagement across multiple business units
- Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
