The Opportunity
people2people is partnering with a well-established commercial law firm to recruit a Business Development Advisor for its Perth office.
Reporting to the Director of Business Development and Marketing, you will be the dedicated business development contact for the Perth office while working closely with a supportive interstate team.
This is a varied and hands-on role covering strategic business development, bids and proposals, client relationship management, marketing initiatives and events. The position is permanent and ideally full-time; however, candidates seeking 0.8–0.9 FTE will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with partners and key stakeholders across the Perth office
- Support the development and delivery of business development plans
- Identify target clients, market trends and new business opportunities
- Develop client and referrer relationship plans
- Coordinate tenders, bids, proposals and capability statements
- Deliver targeted business development campaigns and initiatives
- Support profile-building and thought-leadership opportunities
- Coordinate client events, seminars and networking functions
- Work with the wider marketing team to ensure activities align with the firm’s strategy
- Provide practical day-to-day business development support to partners
About You
You will have previous business development or marketing experience within legal or professional services and be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders.
You will also bring: Experience coordinating bids, tenders, proposals or capability statements Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills Excellent written communication and attention to detail The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines A proactive, organised and commercially minded approach Confidence working independently while remaining connected to a national team Experience coordinating professional events or client engagement activities
