Our client is an Australian‑owned organisation operating within the infrastructure sector, providing essential services to a broad customer base. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join their finance team in a permanent, office‑based role located in Toowong. This position will suit a hands‑on credit professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, high‑volume environment and values being part of a close‑knit, collaborative team.

The Role

• End to end credit and collections function for a dedicated ledger
• Monitor customer accounts, follow up outstanding balances, and minimise overdue debt
• Assess credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit limits
• Resolve account queries and disputes in a professional and timely manner
• Allocate and reconcile incoming payments
• Maintain accurate records and support periodic reporting
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support cash flow targets

About You

• Proven experience as a Credit Officer, Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
• Strong understanding of credit control processes and debt recovery best practice
• Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working 100% from the office
• Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or asset‑intensive industries will be highly regarded
