About the role
people2people Brisbane are partnering with a global property organisation seeking a Data Quality Analyst to assist with a data migration project for a 6-month period. This role offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting the integrity and usability of critical business data.
This role will play a key role in improving the quality, completeness and reliability of core datasets. The role is operational in nature and will suit someone with 1–2 years’ experience in analytics or data-focused roles who is comfortable working with complex datasets and driving practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute structured data cleansing activities across various datasets
- Identify, analyse and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates and inaccuracies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent data capture across systems
- Monitor data completeness metrics and proactively follow up on gaps
- Validate data accuracy through reconciliation processes and cross-system checks
- Apply established data standards and definitions when performing updates and validations
- Provide support for reporting and data extraction requirements as needed
About you
This role suits someone with strong attention to detail, advanced MS Excel and previous SQL experience, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to take ownership of data quality outcomes. You will be expected to not only identify issues but actively contribute to their resolution, ensuring data is fit for purpose and supports broader business objectives. Therefore previous experience in a similar role is a must!
