Disputes Lawyers (2+ PAE)

The Role
Due to continued growth, an opportunity is now available in the Canberra office for a Lawyer, Associate or Senior Associate to join the firm’s busy Dispute Resolution practice. Working alongside a high-performing and approachable team of partners and senior lawyers, the successful candidate will advise on a broad range of commercial and public law disputes, including:
- Administrative law and government litigation;
- Regulatory and statutory challenges;
- Construction and infrastructure disputes;
- Energy and environment-related matters;
- General contractual, corporate and commercial disputes.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ post-admission experience in disputes or litigation (public, administrative, commercial, or construction law backgrounds highly regarded);
- A strong academic record, with at least a high credit average;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail;
- The confidence to manage client relationships and appear in court, if required;
- A commercial mindset and a proactive, collaborative approach to practice;
- For Senior Associate applicants: demonstrated experience supervising junior lawyers and a track record of business development or client relationship growth.
