About the Company
A well-established, globally recognised mid-tier accounting firm is seeking an Experienced Intermediate Auditor or Audit Senior to join its growing Brisbane team.
About the role
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients while building your career in a supportive, high-performing audit environment. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end audit engagements with direct client exposure and the opportunity to lead engagements as you grow.
Key responsibilities
- Leading and executing audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Working closely with Directors and Managers to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients
- Liaising directly with clients to coordinate fieldwork and finalise financial statements
- Supervising and mentoring junior auditors, particularly on larger engagements
- Travelling to client sites as required
- Participating in internal and external training and development programs
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in external audit within an Australian or global accounting firm for at least 2.5 years
- Strong capability in Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage audits independently while working effectively as part of a team
- Confidence in communicating with clients and building professional relationships
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BCom or BBus)
- Near completion of CA/CPA studies, or fully qualified for Audit Seniors.
