Field Development Consultant

Ko wai mātou | About the Organisation
This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised education provider that delivers structured, self-directed learning programmes to students of all ages. With a network of franchise-operated centres throughout Aotearoa, the New Zealand support office is based in Auckland and works closely with centre owners to improve service quality and student outcomes. The team is small, collaborative, and values clear communication, empathy, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
You’ll be assigned a portfolio of approximately 10–15 education centres, working directly with franchise owners to improve centre performance, operational flow, and customer experience. This is not a teaching or curriculum role – instead, your impact comes through observation, coaching, and enabling sustainable change.
A typical week includes 3–4 centre visits, paired with planning, admin, and stakeholder liaison. The role is based out of the Auckland office and includes a mix of on-site, office-based, and remote work.

Ngā kawenga | What You’ll Be Doing

  • Visiting centres to observe operations and consult on service quality
  • Coaching franchisees to improve enrolments, retention, and workflow
  • Advising on customer experience and adherence to operational standards
  • Coordinating logistics for programme materials and centre support
  • Maintaining centre notes, plans, and follow-up actions
  • Contributing to new centre ramp-ups where needed
Mōhou ake | About You
You bring a calm, relationship-led approach to influencing others, with the confidence to provide practical advice and guide performance. Your background could be in education, franchise support, field operations, customer success, or service quality — what matters most is your ability to connect, coach, and help others improve.
You’ll bring:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary qualification (any field of study)
  • Confidence coaching others without direct authority
  • Excellent time management and personal organisation
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and the ability to learn internal tools
  • A full NZ driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for regular travel
Ngā painga | What’s in it for You
  • $70,000–$75,000 base salary
  • Discretionary annual bonus (typically ~1 month’s salary)
  • Reimbursement for work-related travel
  • Indicative hybrid model (2 days in office, 3 days WFH once trained)
  • Free onsite parking
  • Supportive team culture and structured onboarding
