Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
This is a short-term contract opportunity while recruiting for the permanent position, providing field service support across the Auckland region. You’ll carry out preventative maintenance, servicing and testing of medical devices, ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and fully operational.
Working independently in a field-based capacity, you’ll manage your own schedule while delivering responsive, high-quality technical support to healthcare teams. Regional travel is a regular part of the role.
Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on medical equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Conduct electrical safety testing and ensure compliance standards are met
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records
- Provide timely technical support to hospital stakeholders
- Manage service schedules and workload priorities effectively
- Escalate technical issues when required and collaborate with internal teams
- Ensure all service activities align with quality and regulatory requirements
- Competitive rate up to $42.50 per hour

- Experience in electrical safety testing for medical devices is highly regarded
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and/or mechanical systems

- Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Auckland region
