Finance Business Partner

This isn’t your typical government role. This organisation is evolving fast, expanding its reach, and driving a major transformation program. Based near public transport in Ultimo, you’ll work alongside Finance Leaders to understand what drives the business and turn numbers into insights that shape strategy. You’ll translate data into clear, actionable stories that inform decisions and influence the future direction of the organisation.  This is a 12 month, long-term role starting ASAP, giving you the stability and certainty you’re looking for in today’s market.

This is a genuine, value-adding role where you’ll actively partner with the business. You won’t just report the numbers but instead you’ll help drive the story behind them. Day-to-day, some of your responsibilities will include developing financial plans, preparing annual budgets, producing forecasts, and management accounting activities.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a minimum of a degree and a solid understanding of finance. Experience in the NSW Government sector is preferred but not essential. You’ll be confident partnering with the business, spotting trends, and turning them into actionable insights that drive decisions. Your analytical skills are sharp; you're able to make practical conclusions from the numbers, using financial modelling and forecasting tools to guide your thinking.
