Finance Manager
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will manage a small finance team and play a central role in driving financial performance, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of budgets, rolling forecasts, and board-level financial reporting
- Manage all aspects of corporate treasury, including cash flow forecasting and FX/commodity hedging
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close, tax effect accounting, group consolidation, and statutory compliance
- Identify and implement process enhancements, cost-saving initiatives, and measures to manage financial risks across the business
- Lead, coach and support a team of direct reports overseeing accounting, AP/AR and payroll functions
- Collaborate with operational teams to evaluate and optimise project performance, and support decision-making
- Lead external audit preparation and tax compliance activities
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Strong technical accounting knowledge including group consolidations and compliance
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing finance teams
- Hands-on approach with the ability to roll up sleeves and support operational needs
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Pronto, SAP, Oracle)
- Experience in the mining/resources sector (desirable)
