Finance Manager

A dynamic and growing resources company are seeking a motivated and industry experienced Finance Manager. The organisation has a proven track record in the sector in Australia and is strongly positioned to continue their success.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will manage a small finance team and play a central role in driving financial performance, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and consolidation of budgets, rolling forecasts, and board-level financial reporting
Manage all aspects of corporate treasury, including cash flow forecasting and FX/commodity hedging
Ensure accurate and timely month-end close, tax effect accounting, group consolidation, and statutory compliance
Identify and implement process enhancements, cost-saving initiatives, and measures to manage financial risks across the business
Lead, coach and support a team of direct reports overseeing accounting, AP/AR and payroll functions
Collaborate with operational teams to evaluate and optimise project performance, and support decision-making
Lead external audit preparation and tax compliance activities

About You

CA/CPA qualifications
Strong technical accounting knowledge including group consolidations and compliance
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing finance teams
Hands-on approach with the ability to roll up sleeves and support operational needs
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g. Pronto, SAP, Oracle)
Experience in the mining/resources sector (desirable)
