Finance Operations Specialist

About the Role:
Our client, Samsung Electronics Australia, is seeking a proactive and detail oriented Finance Operations Specialist to join their team . In this position, you will assist the Direct-to-Consumer Sales & Marketing Teams for Samsung Electronics Australia in general to ensure overall commercial proficiency, through marketing budget & expense management, forecasting & month-end process management, P&L reporting, efficient business reporting and general daily support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Forecasting and Month-End Process Management
Marketing Budget and Payment Management
Sales Deduction Promotion Management
Support the annual Management Plan (MP) review & build, assisting the team by providing detailed breakdowns and other support as needed
Analyse the Direct-to-Consumer profit and loss positions regularly by product & model, producing & presenting reports to management teams
Support the sales & marketing teams to ensure vendor fees & invoices are properly reconciled & billing is cleared in a timely & effective manner
Provide regular & ad-hoc analysis & reports to support Finance, HQ & Direct-to-Consumer management team.

About You:

A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
