Financial Accountant

A dynamic and forward-thinking education and training organisation committed to empowering individuals and businesses through learning require the immediate assistance of an experienced Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on an initial 3 month assignment. Currently experiencing exponential growth through diversification and acquisition, they deliver high- quality training programs that equip learners with the skills, confidence and industry knowledge to succeed in their chosen career paths.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role will include,

Month end processing (journals, accruals and prepayments)
GL and Balance Sheet reconciliations
Month end reporting
Process documentation and streamlining processes
Ad hoc projects to support the Finance Manager

About You
The successful applicant ill have/be,

Degree qualified, with experience in a similar role
Well developed reconciliation, problem solving and investigation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in XERO and MYOB and intermediate Excel
Proven process improvement and streamlining capabilities
