Financial Controller

people2people is exclusively partnering with a rapidly expanding SaaS scale-up business to appoint a Financial Controller.

We’re seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead the finance function, strengthen governance and processes, and provide commercial insights that shape strategic decision-making.

This newly created role suits an ambitious Financial Controller who thrives in a fast-growth environment and wants genuine influence across an executive team.

The Role

• Lead end-to-end financial reporting, month-end close and consolidated accounts


• Manage budgeting, forecasting and deliver financial modelling


• Build KPI dashboards and deliver meaningful variance and performance analysis


• Manage cashflow, treasury, working capital and finance operations


• Drive process improvement, automation and systems optimisation, with multiple project opportunities


• Lead and develop a small accounting team


• Manage audit, tax and compliance across jurisdictions


• Partner with the CEO and business leaders to support strategic decisions

About You

• CA or CPA qualified, with an audit background preferred


• Experience leading a finance function in a growing business


• SaaS industry experience is highly advantageous, including exposure to recurring revenue metrics analysis


• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP skills


• Commercial, analytical, structured and comfortable challenging assumptions
