South Auckland | Temp position starting ASAP until January | $45 - $50 + 8% holiday pay.
We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to step into a temporary assignment with a busy, operational organisation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being visible across the business, building relationships with frontline teams and managers, and keeping day-to-day health and safety activity moving.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Working across multiple operational environments, you’ll provide practical H&S support while ensuring key processes, reporting and compliance activities stay on track.
- Managing incidents, hazards and near-miss reporting
- Supporting incident investigations and lessons learned
- Coordinating H&S meetings and toolbox talks
- Completing workplace inspections and safety observations
- Supporting inductions, PPE and training requirements
- Maintaining H&S systems, data and reporting
- Providing practical advice and support to managers and teams
Mōu | About You
You’ll have previous Health & Safety experience within a hands-on, operational or blue-collar environment.
We’re particularly interested in someone who can build credibility with different groups of people. You’ll be comfortable getting out on site, having practical safety conversations and adapting your approach depending on who you’re working with.
You’ll also be organised, responsive and confident managing your workload independently.
