This is your opportunity to step into a pivotal Health & Safety Manager role within a purpose‑driven organisation dedicated to supporting its people and community. With a strong WHS foundation already in place, this role focuses on proactive leadership, psychosocial risk management, and embedding a positive safety culture.
About the Organisation

- Lead psychosocial hazard prevention, including issues relating to workload, mental health & bullying.
- Drive WHS uplift across the organisation, guiding leaders on responses, prevention, and best‑practice safety.
- Oversee WHS systems, incident management, ISO accreditation, and Employment Hero WHS functionality.
- Travel between offices as needed (mileage claimable) and work with P&C, WHS Committee, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience in Health & Safety, managing psychosocial risks and delivering preventative wellbeing initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of incident management and advising leaders on how to respond.
- Solid grounding in WHS frameworks, risk controls, and compliance.
- Relevant WHS qualifications with the confidence to operate as the sole WHS specialist.
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary up to $117,000 + super.
- Salary packaging available (total package approx. $140K).
- 35‑hour work week.
- Mileage reimbursement for inter-office travel.
