This is a contract opportunity focused on delivering high-quality data insights to support a major reform programme. You’ll work with people data, extracting and manipulating information from HR systems to respond to a range of information requests. The role sits within a collaborative analytics and systems environment, with scope to contribute to both project work and ongoing reporting. It offers flexibility and the chance to make an immediate impact.
Ngā kawenga | Key Responsibilities
- Extract, manipulate and analyse people data to support business requirements
- Respond to reform-related information requests with accurate and timely insights
- Develop and maintain reports using HR system data
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate into outputs
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across reporting outputs
- Support ongoing reporting requirements where capacity allows
- Contribute to continuous improvement of data processes and outputs

$50–60 per hour contract, depending on experience. Flexible working, including hybrid arrangements. Opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation programme.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong data manipulation capability
- Experience working with large datasets, ideally people or HR data
- Familiarity with HR systems such as SAP or similar
- Ability to translate data into meaningful insights for stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
