HVAC Solutions Engineer
We are looking for a proactive individual to support our Commercial Sales and Account Management teams. The role involves assisting with project design, client relationships, technical support, and the promotion of Samsung products within commercial projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Commercial Sales
- Assist in maintaining regular communication with commercial contractors, consultants, and specifiers to develop relationships and secure business opportunities.
- Support efforts to expand DVM/VRF project involvement at the design stage in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with senior BDM team to maintain a database of scheduled meetings and calls with target clients (Consultants, Contractors, and Developers).
- Aid in distributing Samsung technical selling tools (e.g., DVM Pro, tech data, and product specifications) to consultants and commercial clients.
- Support the identification of new market opportunities through research on market trends and competitor activities.
- Take responsibility for managing a limited portfolio of accounts, ensuring consistent follow-up and relationship building.
- Conduct DVM-Pro selections for assigned accounts, ensuring accurate specifications and alignment with project requirements.
- Use Salesforce to upload meeting notes, project details, and follow-up activities to maintain accurate records and support team-wide visibility.
- Collaborate with the forecasting team to ensure stock is accurately predicted and scheduled for delivery to meet client needs.
- Follow up on client inquiries and delivery timelines to ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth end-to-end experience.
- Assist in providing technical support to specialist commercial contractors and consultants.
- Stay informed about local and state government requirements and share relevant updates with the team.
- Report project updates, pipeline status, and meeting outcomes to the Manager weekly.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, within a HVAC environment.
- Computer literacy is essential with demonstrated capabilities in Excel, Word and Power Point & ERP database.
- Ability to decipher, download, manage and distribute technical information from global intranet portals is also essential.
