About the Company
people2people is proud to be partnering with a leading freight forwarder located on Brisbane’s north side. We are seeking an experienced Import or Export Coordinator to join their operations team on a 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension. The role will be tailored to suit your expertise, whether in import or export coordination.

About the Role
In this position, you will draw on your operational knowledge of air and sea freight to ensure the smooth delivery of end-to-end freight forwarding services. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing professional support via phone and email, maintaining a high standard of customer service
• Managing import and export processes for both air and sea freight
• Coordinating documentation and customs requirements
• Handling air and ocean carrier bookings
• Tracking cargo and coordinating deliveries
• Overseeing billing and invoicing functions
• Utilising CargoWise across all areas of operations

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in either import or export operations (the role will be shaped to your expertise)
• Proficiency in CargoWise
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
• A professional phone manner and strong communication skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and systems
• A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
