The opportunity –
This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity to identify, support and lead injury management and return-to-work initiatives across a diverse and dynamic workforce. Working closely with leaders, employees, healthcare providers and insurers, you will oversee both physical and psychological injury cases, delivering positive outcomes through proactive case and claims management. Beyond day-to-day injury management, you'll contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends, enhancing processes, building organisational capability and driving early intervention strategies that support employee wellbeing and business performance.
Selection criteria –
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, or a similar discipline
- Proven experience delivering successful injury management and return-to-work outcomes within workers' compensation frameworks in a corporate setting
- Up-to-date knowledge of Queensland workers' compensation legislation and rehabilitation best practice
- Confidence managing complex physical and psychological injury cases from early intervention through to claim resolution
- The ability to influence, educate and partner effectively with leaders, employees, insurers and healthcare providers
- A data-driven mindset with the capability to identify trends, improve processes and enhance workplace outcomes
- A proactive, empathetic and solutions-focused approach to supporting injured workers
