Inventory & Forecasting Analyst

Our client, Samsung Electronics Australia, is seeking a Inventory & Forecasting Analyst to join their Business Innovation team! In this position, you will transform data into meaningful insights that drive operational excellence and informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a naturally curious mindset and a passion for continuous improvement, using data to refine and optimise ways of working.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Gather and analyse retail channel data to identify performance improvement opportunities across products, channels and operations.
Develop and manage innovation projects to enhance retail performance and strengthen partnerships with retail channels.
Collaborate with internal teams including National Account Managers, Field Managers and Product Managers to deliver key initiatives.
Support demand forecasting and planning by analysing sales and inventory data to inform accurate forecasts and recommendations.
Maintain up-to-date retail channel data to enable timely insights and reporting
Conduct store-level sales and inventory analyses to identify missed opportunities and optimise stock efficiency
Provide actionable recommendations to internal and external stakeholders based on performance insights

About You:

Relevant degree with 5+ years’ experience.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical and communication abilities.
Skilled in project and stakeholder management.
Proactive, organised and detail-focused.
