Key responsibilities
- Provide high quality administrative and legal support to attorneys across trade marks and patents
- Manage deadlines, diaries and task lists with strong attention to detail
- Prepare, format and revise legal documents and correspondence
- Assist with filing and prosecution activities for trade marks, patents, designs and related matters
- Liaise directly with clients and maintain strong professional relationships
- Monitor inboxes and ensure data accuracy within IP systems
- Assist with billing processes, work in progress reviews and month end tasks
- Conduct research and prepare client portfolios and supporting documents
About you
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a legal assistant in intellectual property, either trade marks or patents
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to support fee earners effectively
- Enjoyment of a client-facing role
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
- Experience with IP management software is highly regarded
