You’ll be joining a collaborative, tight‑knit team that invests heavily in career development, fosters a supportive culture, and provides genuine pathways for progression. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Junior Account Manager to support a high‑performing sales team.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will provide proactive, detail‑focused and service‑driven support to Account Managers and customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem‑solving, and administrative precision within the tech sector.
You will:
- Support Account Managers on an ad hoc basis across a variety of customer activities
- Manage system updates, maintain accurate records, and process incoming customer requests
- Handle phone‑based enquiries and ask the right questions to qualify client needs
- Conduct research, prepare customer‑ready Excel documentation, and assist with pre‑purchase administrative tasks
- Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure smooth communication across internal stakeholders
- Think holistically to support Account Managers in recommending the right solutions
- Ensure all data entry, documentation, and customer updates are delivered accurately and on time
To be considered for interview, you will ideally bring:
- Experience in customer service or sales support - retail (especially tech/hardware) is highly regarded
- A genuine interest in technology, particularly IT hardware, and an understanding of commonly sold products
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Confidence in asking questions and qualifying customer needs
- A proactive mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- A positive, service‑oriented approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Up to $90,000 + super
