An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Lawyer to join a well-established boutique law firm in Perth, specialising in Criminal Law, Family Law and Litigation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently admitted lawyer looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple practice areas while working closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive team environment.

The Opportunity

Working directly with senior lawyers and directors, you will gain exposure to a diverse range of matters while developing your practical legal skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting legal correspondence, court documents and legal advice.
• Assisting with client meetings, taking instructions and managing files.
• Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda.
• Supporting senior lawyers with ongoing matters and court preparation.
• Attending court alongside senior practitioners and appearing on straightforward matters under supervision.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Recently been admitted to practise law in Western Australia.
• Completed a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor and Practical Legal Training.
• Strong legal research, drafting and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• An interest in Criminal Law, Family Law and Litigation.
