THE ROLE
Join the Public Law & Regulatory Compliance team in a hybrid Law Clerk / Legal Assistant role, combining varied and stimulating responsibilities to support the team’s success.
- Prepare a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, memoranda, briefs for hearings and conferences, and templates for orders and reports (such as business analysis and sales trends)
- Manage lawyer appointments, court hearings, and deadlines to ensure timely and efficient case progression
- Develop and maintain workflows in collaboration with firm template authors, responding promptly to related enquiries
- Create, organise, and maintain digital files, including preparation of initial letters and ensuring all documentation is accurately filed
- Assist with the preparation of board reports and provide administrative support for CRM activities, particularly within the Aged Care and Retirement Living sector
- Draft meeting minutes, agendas, action plans, and correspondence to support smooth team operations
- Contribute to the development and submission of legal precedents for the precedents team
To be considered for this role, you will have senior level experience within a commercial law firm. Additionally, you will demonstrate:
