The Role
- Brisbane based role within a successful and growing insurance team
- Acting on high value casualty and insurance litigation matters
- Work across public liability, personal injury and property damage claims
- Exposure to product liability, indemnity disputes, CTP and catastrophic claims
- Direct interaction with insurer clients, counsel and expert witnesses
- Opportunity to build strong technical and client management skills
The Candidate
- Admitted lawyer with 1+yrs post admission experience
- Background in general insurance or casualty litigation
- Hold a current Queensland practising certificate
- Confident dealing directly with clients and external stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a plain language style
- Organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in insurance litigation
